TLAC’s CDL training program prepares individuals for careers in commercial driving by providing the necessary skills and knowledge to obtain a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). The program  includes classroom instruction and behind-the-wheel driving experience.  The course includes  vehicle operation, regulations, equipment inspection, and safety procedures.

Details for the Class A CDL Program:

1) Clearing House Items completed

2) Meet the current FMSCR Entry Level Training Requirement Proficiencies:
a) Entry – Level and Human Trafficking items
b)Range Proficiencies
c)Road Proficiencies

3) Skid Pad – (Decision Driving Coarse)

4) CDL Exam

The items that will be needed by the students for class are:

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Class A Learner’s Permit

  • FED Med card

  • DOT drug test prior to starting class
